What my customers say

Her warm, friendly approach creates a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and admitting when they’re stuck on a topic. Engaging and supportive, Michelle really out the best in her students and I can’t recommend her highly enough.Posted on Google Sonia StanleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot recommend Advanteach enough. My daughter started online tutor lessons in the months leading up to her GCSEs for both maths and English. Not only did Michelle teach thoroughly and professionally but she also gave a lot of love and support during and after these lessons. The kindness in which she teaches was lovely. She went above and beyond. My daughter didn’t want these lessons to end and carried on right until the last exam. I highly recommend and will be booking more lessons in when my second daughter is in year 11. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart. She very ably modified her lesson-plan to keep his attention, when she noticed she was losing him; she balanced humour with her teaching to keep him engaged; and she was able to generally keep the flow of the lesson and learning on track. We were really pleased to have her support!Posted on Google Mary-Jane VaughanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughter has been having tutoring with Michelle for maths for the last couple of years. Her self confidence was low when we came to Michelle because she struggles with memory and focus (she had adhd). She enjoys her weekly sessions, which are adapted to her pace. Michelle is happy to flex the sessions according to her needs and she gives my daughter the space and time to work things out herself. I have often asked my daughter if she wants to stop her sessions and the answer is always no - this from a 14 year old is praise enough!. She now recognises, thanks to Michelle, that she is capable and it has made an enormous difference - not just to grades, but more importantly to her self esteem. Highly recommended!Posted on Google Candice InglisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Michelle provides a supportive tailored approach to her outstanding tutoring, she not only imparts knowledge but also works on building your child’s confidence and resilience.could not recommend more.Posted on Google Naomi McAinshTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Having Michelle tutor my sons has literally been life changing and we cannot recommend her enough. One of my son’s confidence was at an all time low and he felt he was stupid. Over time Michelle has literally turned everything round - he has gone from freezing in class and not being able to read out loud -to actively volunteering to do so. He has now gone up a set in maths and possibly will again. Both my sons’ teachers cannot believe the difference in them. When I recommended Michelle to my friend the other day I explained her in these terms. She provides the comfort of a family friend with the competence of an expert in the field. Also for those children who have dyslexia she weaves in strategies of how to learn in a dyslexic friendly way without them necessarily realising. She is highly professional, and constantly adapts her lessons to whatever is happening at school, whether they are struggling with a topic or need to revise for a test. After every lesson she writes a convenient summary of it, so you always know what is happening as a parent. Her rates are extremely reasonable- we were not sure if we could afford to have a tutor but she is worth every penny. I cannot believe my sons literally never complain about have their tutor time with her- I think that speaks for itself!Posted on Google LynetteTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have been using Michelle’s services for quite some time & can fully recommend her. Michelle takes the time to understand the students needs, puts a plan in place to suit the individual & reports back after every lesson. Super friendly & happy to help whatever the problem.Posted on Google maria antonioTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Michelle is a fabulous tutor! She was able to identify and address my children's gaps and needs very quickly. They built a great rapport and have made positive improvements.Posted on Google Hazel HowardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Michelle has been tutoring our 12 year old son in Maths and English for several months now. Her warm and encouraging style keeps him engaged and the interactive lessons are structured with just enough challenge, that he feels he can achieve. As a young person with autism and anxiety too high to attend school, Michelle has been a lifesaver in keeping some education going filling in the gaps he is less secure in. With huge thanks. The H family.
