How do I book and access lessons?

How do I contact, book, and access my lessons

Lessons online. It can be difficult to think about learning online as face-to-face has been the normal for many years, but learning online is becoming ever more popular and new specially designed online classrooms are becoming more available for tutors to use. As more people are now aware of this new way of learning the question ‘How do I contact, and book lessons’ is being asked. Have a look at how you can contact and learn with Advanteach.uk.

Contacting Advanteach.uk

You can contact Advanteach in several ways, take a look below and see which one you would prefer.

Website

Look on the website http://Advanteach.uk  and either fill in the booking form on the contact page or request a call back on the Home page, Course/Pricing page or the About Me page. Filling in the necessary details requested, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Email

You can email Advanteach directly  michelle@advanteach.uk Explaining how I can help and expressing how you would like me to contact you. Again, I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Phone

You can send me a message via Text or WhatsApp or give me a call if you prefer. (Please note that if you call, I may be working and not able to answer your call immediately. I will reply to any missed calls.)

Whichever way you request a call back I will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a time that is confident to call. We can chat about what your aims/goals are and how I can help and support you in your learning journey. Discuss any issues or concerns you may have and the equipment that you will need for your lessons. We can then proceed to booking a block of lessons if you wish to do so.

Booking lessons with Advanteach.uk

A 30-minute Trail Lesson can be arranged so that you can meet me your tutor and have a look at the classroom and all its tools and have the opportunity to have a go, use them, and see how they work. If this is something you wish to do, then just ask about it during your call back. If you decide that a trial lesson isn’t necessary, then time will be set aside during your first lesson so that you can explore what is available and how to use.

If you choose you would like to procced with lessons, we will discuss how many lessons a week you would like and the duration time for each session. How much your blocks will cost and how you will need to pay for them. Invoices are usually sent via email and payment is requested in advance.

Once your lesson block is completed and added to the calendar, I will issue you with a classroom link. This will be your own classroom for the duration of you lessons with Advanteach.uk and nobody else will share it, (unless you are part of a group lesson).

Accessing my lessons with Advanteach.uk

Lessons with Advanteach.uk are delivered online through a specially designed educational platform called LessonSpace. LessonSpace has many tools available to use including:

A Whiteboard with various tools including pen, highlighter, eraser, shapes, equations and more.

A Doc board which is useful for English lessons as you can type essays, create articles and reviews etc. There are various fonts style and font sizes, plus you can underline and make bold headings etc.

I am able to share power points and other resources to support my students and create lessons that are engaging and fun. LessonSpace helps to make learning online easy and enjoyable. It is a classroom not just a meeting platform.

How many lessons will I need?

The number of lessons you will need is a hard question to answer. Each student is an individual with their own goals and aims. Some may only need a block (4 lessons minimum) to help with something with which they are struggling. For example, a subject in mathematics that is taking a little longer to grasp, but an understanding is needed for an up-and-coming exam. Others may want to develop existing skills, or some may want to start from the beginning. How many lessons you will need is entirely the student’s choice and you should not feel pressured to continue once you feel you have reached your target.

What can I expect from my lessons with Advanteach.uk?

Lessons are aimed to be fun and engaging, where the student has plenty of activities and feels they are learning and gaining new skills to help them to develop. I am a happy and friendly tutor who aims for learning to be enjoyable! My aim is to build a strong rapport with my students and help them to feel safe, comfortable, and ready to learn.

Strongly believing that learning new skills should be for everybody. Whether you are a GCSE student wanting extra support in preparation for your exams or a mature student who just wants to learn new skills for fun.

My moto is “The best tutors teach from the heart, not from the book.”

So please feel free to get in touch to discuss any questions you may have. Advanteach.uk offers 1-1 and 3-1 group sessions, so if you have friends or family who would like to join a lesson with you, just let me know.
